What a SkinPen® Treatment Looks Like
Allow about an hour including numbing. The treatment itself takes 20 to 30 minutes for the full face.
Your provider assesses your skin, confirms there's no active acne, eczema or irritation in the treatment area, and selects the needle depth for each zone. Numbing cream is applied for 20 to 30 minutes.
The numbing is removed and the skin is thoroughly cleansed. A sterile cartridge is loaded and a thin layer of hydrating gel is applied so the device glides smoothly.
The pen is passed over the skin in sections, with depth adjusted as your provider moves from thicker areas like the cheeks to thinner ones around the eyes. You'll feel a light vibration and mild scratching.
A calming serum, growth factor product or PRP is applied while the channels are open, so it absorbs well beyond the surface. Your skin will look pink and feel tight for a day or two.

Your skin is constantly repairing itself, but that process slows with age and sun exposure. SkinPen® gives it a reason to speed up. Each micro-channel is a small, precise injury that closes within hours but is enough to trigger the skin's wound healing response.
