The Standard We Wanted to Practice
Medical aesthetics has grown quickly, and not always carefully. Plenty of clinics now run on volume: a quick form, a video call, a treatment performed before anyone has properly looked at your skin. Patients end up choosing from a price list instead of being told what their skin actually needs, and the results reflect that.
Swãe was created to work the other way around. Booking is easy, and you can reserve a time whenever suits you. What never gets skipped is the in-person Good Faith Exam with one of our physician assistants, which happens before any service is performed. The aim was a medspa where the person treating you has actually examined you, and where being told a treatment is not right for you is a normal part of the conversation.
That principle still shapes how the practice runs. Our devices were chosen for specific jobs rather than for how they market, our providers plan treatment around your concerns instead of a standard menu, and nobody here will push you to book on the spot. When a concern needs a series over several months, we say so. When it needs one visit, we say that too.
The setting was deliberate as well. Swãe sits on the beachfront in Hermosa Beach, a few steps from the sand, and the space was designed to feel calm and unhurried rather than clinical. Good medical care and a relaxed visit are not mutually exclusive, and we wanted both.

Every new patient begins with an in-person Good Faith Exam completed by one of our physician assistants. It takes time, and it's the reason our recommendations hold up.
We'd rather do fewer treatments for better reasons. If something won't get you the result you're describing, we'll tell you and suggest what will.
